Story and Tradition. 1st Post Due by Day 3. Choose a traditional work from this week’s Required or Recommended Resources and summarize its story (narrative events) and its plot (internal registers, motivation, and/or the development of main character/s). Provide instances in the narrative where dialogue contributes to the story and/or plot. Explain how this use of dialogue creates tension and conflict.
Also, choose one of the non-traditional or metafictional pieces from this week’s Required or Recommended Resources. In terms of plot, point of view, and narration, etc., how does this piece differ from the traditional story that you chose? Please substantiate your ideas with specific examples from the story.
If you had to choose one type of fiction to write—traditional or non-traditional—what would it be, and why do you prefer that aesthetic?
Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length. Support your claims with examples from required material(s) and/or other scholarly sources, and properly cite your sources using APA style.
